This FREE, innovative program will provide relevant, engaging learning opportunities for students. The Sheriff’s office will share innovative activities and career opportunities for up to 120 students who are interested in attending. Topics include: Aviation, Maritime, Bomb Robots, K-9, Communications, Crime Scene Investigation, Range, Traffic, Financial Crimes, Cybersecurity, Traditional Karate Discipline Mindset, Social Emotional Learning, Life Skills, Work Readiness, and the importance of ongoing education. Instructors will also include community leaders.
Participants will also take field trips to the LSU Cox Communications Academic Center and the Franciscan University Biological Laboratory
